- Read the full syllabus in Canvas. Note the due dates for the Informative Speech (3–5 min) and Persuasive Speech (5–10 min) and mark them on your calendar now.
- Identify your three most important graded items by point value. What will you prioritize first?
- Complete the Canvas Introductions discussion post (5 pts). Introduce yourself and explain one communication goal for the semester.
- Bookmark the LibreTexts OER: it's free and covers every topic on exams. Write the URL here so you can return to it.
